Q: What areas does Phone-4-Help cover?
A: The Phone-4-Help system can protect anyone in the continental United States. All that is needed is a modular phone jack and a power outlet.

Q:How does the Phone-4-Help system work?
A: When the small transmitter (pendant or wristband) is pressed, it sends a radio signal to the monitor, which in turn dials our Central Service via a 800 number. Our operators try to reach you by phone (Non-Voice System) or by a speaker-phone in the monitor (Voice to Voice System). If you answer with HELP or we get NO ANSWER we will IMMEDIATELY call your selected responders (such as: Rescue, Relative, Neighbor or Friend) TO GET YOU HELP!

Q:How fast can I have a system setup?
A: Phone-4-Help can have a Personal Emergency Response system delivered in as little as 1 business day* to no more than 3 business days* anywhere nationwide! ( *Excludes weekends and holidays. )

Q:How do I sign up for service?

Q: How do you bill for services, and can you invoice someone else besides the protected person?
A: Phone-4-Help provides many billing options to suit your needs: monthly (with credit card or electronic funds transfer), quarterly, semi-annually, or annual. Phone-4-Help will gladly invoice a second party for service (i.e. A son in CA pays for his mom's service in DC). Please inquire for details. Credit cards are welcomed.

Q:Can information be changed or updated after a system is set-up?
A: Yes, anytime and as many times as needed at no charge!

Q: What types of “help” pendant or transmitters are available?
A: Phone-4-Help provides a "WATERPROOF" necklace, pendant transmitter, or wristwatch transmitter.

Q: What is the difference between "Voice" and "Non-Voice"?
A: A "Voice" unit will allow you to communicate directly through a powerful speaker and microphone combination built in to the Phone-4-Help unit. This would allow you to tell the emergency operator your exact trouble, if you can. If you cannot, then your contact list would be followed as if it were a "Non-Voice" unit.

Q:Can more than 1 person be protected at a location and how much extra will it cost?
A: Yes, Phone-4-Help can and will provide protection, for example a husband and wife. Only 1 extra transmitter is required at a one-time cost of $35.00. The monitoring service fee remains the same.

Q: Who provides maintenance or repair if it is needed, and who pays?
A: Phone-4-Help is responsible for all service and repair as well as battery replacements at no extra cost and no annual maintenance fees. A replacement unit is shipped to you. If needed, please return unit for repair.

Q: How will Emergency Personnel gain access to my home if my door is locked?
A: Phone-4-Help can provide you with a key lockbox in which to place a key to your door. The key lockbox is a secure box that easily attaches to your home. Responders and Local emergency personnel are given the combination to the key lockbox so they can quickly get a key to your home in the event of an emergency. The key lockbox can also be used so that family members or friends can readily get a key to your home when necessary. There is a one-time fee of $35.00 for the key lockbox purchase.
